We are looking for a Carrier Capacity Representative for our growing National Accounts division. This role will be responsible for sourcing carriers for available loads of our largest customers (well-known international companies) and ensuring all loads are picked up as scheduled.
Summary of essential job functions:
- Use a regional approach to build and maintain a book of carrier partners; develop and maintain past carrier relationships while continuing to build a solid pipeline of potential new carrier partners
- Leverage carrier relationships to source capacity for on-time pickup and delivery of customer’s freight
- Use negotiation tactics during inbound/outbound calls to buy capacity at the lowest rate possible
- Dispatch shipments to motor carriers by following customer service requirements and carrier utilization plans to achieve performance and profit objectives
- Monitor carrier performance and report carrier failures
- Maintain productive working relationships with motor carriers and PLS employees
- Other duties as required by business needs or as assigned by Manager
Minimum Requirements:
- Advanced English level is a MUST
- Previous work experience with native speakers is required
- KPI-driven (SLA, Revenue&Profitablity, personal metrics/contribution)
- Flexibility on workload/essential job functions
- PC proficient (Microsoft Office preferred), communication and organizational skills
- Negotiation skills
- Able to multitask and be efficient in a fast-paced high-stress environment
- Previous experience in US logistics is strongly preferred
- Abroad experience in English-speaking country or Work&Travel experience would be an advantage

- US daylight shift: 15:00 to 00:00 Ukrainian time, ability to work extra weekend shift twice a month (additionally paid)
