AboutHR is looking for a Junior .NET developer for a global B2B e-commerce and systems integration company (Canada HQ) with offices in North and Latin America specializing in Supply Chain Solutions, SaaS, EDI, Outsourcing, and end-to-end process automation.

Role description:

• Developing, troubleshooting and supporting applications (back/front end),

• Redesigning and enhancing existing applications

• Providing technical insights

• Participating in the development of methodologies, tools and codes used by the programming team

• Communicate with managers in Canada

Responsibilities:

• Analyze, estimate and write solution proposals for projects and potential projects, satisfying technical requests and inquiries from business.

• Produce programming deliverables with a minimum of rework

• Create reports upon request by the business & support teams and documentation to support projects

• Demonstrate solutions by developing documentation, flowcharts, layouts, diagrams, charts, code comments, and clear code.

• Complete testing to ensure deliverables meet requirements

• Provide technical support on the phone and via email

• Enhance and enforce company programming standards

• Develop software solutions by studying information needs; conferring with users; studying systems flow, data usage, and work processes; investigating problem areas; following the software development lifecycle

• Improve operations by conducting systems analysis

• Provide information by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing development and service issues

• Visit clients and assist with presentations and sales opportunities (potentially)

Required skills:

• 1+ year of experience with C# and OOP

• Understanding of software development principles

• XML

• ASP.NET

• WEB API

• SOAP and RESTful API interfaces

• MS SQL

• Spoken English (written and verbal)
