Job: Field Application Engineer

Field Application Engineer (FAE)

Working hand in hand with company representatives, regional sales managers, and with customers. Field application engineer's prime task is to foster for successful sales conversion. This includes pre sales activities, assistance in defining products specification as per the customer's needs, and accelerate sales procedures. Reporting to VP of business development.

Responsibilities

·       Preparing and integrating technical solutions based on company's lines or products, in relation to customer's needs and requirements

·       Supporting preliminary phases of products bring up in lab and in the field

·       Researching standards and materials adjacent to company's technologies

Skills

·       Knowledge and expertise in Linux programming

·       Know how in network programming

·       Experience with Intel DPDK, OpenvSwitch, virtualization software - a plus

·       Know how in embedded environments – a plus

Experience

·       3-5 years as a programmer

·       Customers support experience  - a plus
