Job: VP Product -(semiconductor)

Azimut  is looking for a new VP, Product to join our exciting and dynamic team to prospect and build our product strategy, go-to-market, product life cycle, for achieving the company vision and goals in the automotive industry and to grow to new markets such as PV and industrial solutions.


• Leader & Owner

o Be a meaningful member of Azimut  leadership team that leads the business and the whole organization in order to fulfill our vision and mission

o Own the entire range of azimut  Products – lead and manage the entire Product portfolio life cycle from roadmap strategic planning, product creation and launch, through tactical activities until end-of-life 

o Lead product managers team that works with your guidance & deeply collaborate with external & internal stakeholders (mainly R&D) to execute these responsibilities

• Visionary: 

o Lead the creation definition and execution of product vision and strategy

• Marketer: 

o Master the market – lead & develop deep understanding of the market, its trends, customers, partners and competitive landscape – to best position azimut  and its products 

o Identify new products or enhancements to existing products by understanding and analyzing user needs, azimut  current product and customer business requirements

• Executor:

o Convert the vision to a full product roadmap which encompasses the whole product and services portfolio associated with your solutions.

o Lead the creation of the product full roadmap responsibility: MRDs, prioritize, track activities cross company (R&D, Packaging, Sales, OPS, Marketing) to ensure product creation until it reaches customers and follow-up with support and release plans 

o Manage and measure the success of your products with detailed analysis on cost, pricing, and margin across our target markets

o Lead & be part in writing specifications and MRDs, prioritize features, build consensus and coordinate product schedules and release plans 

o Lead & be part in creating formal product documentation such as Product Briefs, Datasheets, User Guides etc.

o Lead & be part in executing an integrated marketing & communications plan including conferences, PRs, news etc. according to the company strategy and the target markets, customers, HR and IR requirements

• Salesman:

o Lead & participate in pre-sale activities, create presentations and promotional material, define Tools and Evaluation Kits, assist customers to build their products, write documentations and datasheets

o Responsible for the marketing & communication strategy and execution with the marketing communication team

Report to  azimut CEO 


• 7+ years of high-power semiconductor or high-power systems technical product management preferred. Advantage for experience in high-power engineering in semiconductor or system 

• Deep understanding of the Automotive market 

• 5+ years of proven managing product team.

• Proven track record of working products 

• Strong interdisciplinary experience collaborating with RND teams and sales teams. With excellent inter-personal relations with different technology groups, sales and company staff.

• Understanding of high-power semiconductor solutions - advantage.

• Understanding of high-power systems for EV market .
