Job: Logistics Coordinator, Brokerage

We are looking for a Logistics Coordinator for our Brokerage Division. Logistics Coordinator will closely cooperate with the Account Executive and the US team and be responsible for various operational tasks for our customers, including finding carriers for available loads and making sure loads are picked up and delivered as required.

Job summary

Ensure daily customer service requirements and carrier utilization plans are met with respect to performance and profitability.

Summary of essential job functions

• Booking & scheduling all shipments within the assigned Account Executive/team
• Choose carriers based on service levels and profitability targets
• Negotiate carrier rates (under targets)
• Ensure all loads are covered that are expected to ship each day
• Monitor and ensure shipments are confirmed picked up and delivered as scheduled
• Evaluate carrier performance and report carrier failures
• Maintain productive working relationships with customer representatives, motor carriers, and PLS employees
• Assist with the training and development of all new Logistics Coordinators through shadowing, best practice sharing, and general support
• Other duties as required by business needs or as assigned

Minimum Requirements:

• Advanced English level is a MUST
• PC proficient (Microsoft Office preferred)
• Communication and organizational skills, good soft skills
• Effective problem-solving skills
• KPI-driven (SLA, Revenue&Profitablity, personal metrics/contribution) 
• Flexibility on workload/essential job functions 
• Able to multitask and be efficient in a fast-paced high-stress environment
• Conflict resolution
• Analytical problem solver with a passion for excellent customer service
• Previous experience in a call-center environment or US logistics will be an advantage
• Previous experience communicating with English native-speakers will be a PLUS

• US daylight shift: 15:00 to 00:00 Ukrainian time
