Team & Opportunity

As any other marketplace Wheely is a place where the customer meets the performer.
At every point of each city we should solve a demand and supply task: booker places a request for a journey and Wheely offers that request to chauffeurs. Marketplace Team helps to create a right balance: customers should have the ability to start a journey as fast as they want to, chauffeurs should not wait too long for new ride requests.
We should also choose chauffeurs mindfully for each request: the nearest geo position is not always the right answer. The optimal solution for one particular customer could be not optimal in terms of the whole system.

Our stack:

We use Go, Ruby, MongoDB, Redis and RabbitMQ to implement our ideas in code. Docker, Jenkins, AWS, and Devops-team to make developers' lives easier. Jira and Product Manager for tasks tracking.

Requirements:

• 2+ years of programming experience;
• 1+ year experience in Ruby or/and Go;
• Experience with NoSQL databases;
• Experience with message brokers;
• Experience with RPC-frameworks.
