Job: Database Administrator / SQL Developer

We are seeking an experienced Database Administrator/SQL Developer to join our dynamic IT team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing our database infrastructure, developing robust business logic, and ensuring optimal database performance and reliability.

• Develop and maintain business logic using T-SQL

• Manage and optimize database systems and infrastructure

• Monitor database performance and implement proactive solutions

• Collaborate with development team to ensure data integrity and efficiency

• Participate in database design and architecture decisions

• Implement and maintain backup and recovery procedures

• Strong proficiency in T-SQL for business logic development and database management

• Extensive knowledge and experience with server hardware and software infrastructure, including:

• Windows Server environments

• Virtualization technologies

• Ability to monitor and proactively address performance issues

• Excellent communication skills and proven ability to work effectively in a team environment

• Experience with High Availability and Disaster Recovery Solutions

• AlwaysOn Availability Groups

• Other HA/DR technologies

• Experience building ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes

• Knowledge of database optimization and tuning techniques

• Experience with database security implementation
